TITLE: Reporting and Communications Specialist, Community Partnerships for Respectful Care Project

POSITION SUMMARY:
Americares is seeking a full-time Reporting & Communications Coordinator to support the 5-year USAID-funded Community Partners for Respectful Care (CRPC) Project, which is being implemented in Liberia and Tanzania. The Reporting & Communications Coordinator will support the CPRC team by managing the planning and drafting of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and final donor reports; internal reports to support programmatic learning and documentation; and other reports and communications pieces for internal and external stakeholders. The Reporting & Communications Coordinator will work closely with the CPRC Program and Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) staff as well as the Americares Marketing & Communication and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Teams.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting
-Manage the process for the CPRC program reporting activities, including planning and preparation of donor reports, success stories, and those for other stakeholders.
-Compile, edit, and critically review all inputs for ongoing reporting activities, following up and coordinating across departments as needed to ensure high-quality products.
-Lead the drafting of quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and final programmatic reports, in accordance with donor guidelines and formats.
-Prepare presentations for external and internal presentations sometime with very short notice.
-Support CPRC Program and MEL staff in the field in gathering, tracking and reporting data.
-Serve as focal point for HQ programmatic information requests and maintain up-to-date fact sheets regarding programmatic activities.

Communications
-The following activities will be done in coordination with the Marketing and Communications team:
-Create and update promotional materials such as program fact sheets, short videos, and stories for the Americares website.
-Support departments in communications requests, including review of IEC materials, production of videos, and promoting work to a variety of audiences.
-Assist the Marketing and Communications Team to develop and maintain the CPRC page on the Americares website.
-Maintain a collection of photographs, videos and other communications material that can be called on in short notice when required for reports or presentations.
-Ensure adherence to the USAID-approved CPRC branding and marking policy.
-Review the CPRC branding & marking policy on a semi-annual basis or when the context requires; update or modify as necessary; and obtain all required USAID approvals.
-Support all departments in understanding Americares’ branding and style policies, identity guidelines, and photography guidance.

Other
-Compile and review technical input from technical staff for concept notes and proposals.
-Develop and maintain social media policies and procedures.
-Create and manage maps or program sites including geodata information.
-Any other related tasks, as requested by supervisor.

Qualifications:
-Masters in Public Health (or equivalent);
-A minimum of 3-years’ experience preparing reports to USAID and other donors;
-Experience living and working in a developing country preferred (Peace Corps experience included);
-Excellent writing and editing skills;
-Strong analytical and reporting skills;
-Basic understanding of data analysis and statistics;
-Team player with excellent planning skills;
-Ability to learn quickly, and complete tasks with minimal guidance;
-Strong computer/word processing and standard office software skills;
-Experience with photo editing, video editing, and design software a plus;
-Willingness to travel internationally for up to two weeks up to three times per year
