1. Background/Context

The employee is personally responsible of ensuring access to documents including NRC handbooks and guidelines on intranet, and other information necessary to the post.

The purpose of the Regional HR Coordinator is to contribute to the effective management of the Regional HR Unit. The HR Coordinator will provide support to the Regional HR Advisers, in particular on personnel administrative tasks related to recruitment process and exit interviews. The HR Coordinator will be a focal point for PEOPLE and focal point on personnel administrative question toward Global HR.

 

2. Role and responsibilities

The following is a brief description of the role:

Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures. Supporting HR Advisers and CO with administrative HR issues for international staff. Responsible for developing statistic and quarterly dashboard for HR in the region. Responsible for administration, summary, and follow-up on monthly meeting with HR community in the region. Responsible for procedure and to organize international staff induction and exit to the region. Focal point for Global Recruitment Center on e.g., contract extension, allowances etc. Responsible for the coordination administration with Global HR and Head Office HR on HR administrative issues. Responsibility for supporting regional staff on HR admin issues. Responsible for the Regional HR Intranet pages and archive. Be the focal point for implementation and coordination of PEOPLE (HR System) in the regional office. The HR Coordinator will be delegated development project based on background and knowledge in addition to the HR administrative task.

3. What We Are Looking For

Fluency in English, both written and verbal. High level of HR and or administration skills and information management experience. Excellent ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work at an advanced level in Excel, PowerPoint, and databases. Professional knowledge and experience of HR is an asset. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities. Attention to details and system oriented. Good understanding of international humanitarian work. Solution oriented and creative problem solving.
