Role

The Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project within the approved project mandate to achieve the objectives in a timely, cost-efficient, quality focused manner.

Within the team structure the Project Manager resources will be allocated to various teams across the department.

Responsibilities

Compliance and adherence to NORCAP and NRC policies, procedures, strategy, and branding Proactively contribute to effective and well-functioning team(s) that delivers collectively and according to plans. Take on the role as Team Coordinator as agreed in the team structure Budget holder responsibility Responsible for the administration of existing grant agreements and for timely, high quality reporting to donors as per their requirements. Responsible for maintaining an overview of grants agreements relevant to the project and for narrative and financial reporting, including audits, as required. Represent the project according to needs in relevant fora and vis-à-vis international, regional, and national donors, partners, and stakeholders Perform other duties in the department as appropriate

Qualifications:

Demonstrated professional experience in maintaining and developing partner and donor relations Demonstrated professional knowledge of the humanitarian sector and/or development settings at both policy and operational level Demonstrated professional knowledge with Project Management, preferably project management certification (Prince2, PMP or other project management certifications) Professional experience from working with Results Based Project Cycle Management Proven experience in grants management and donor compliance including financial and narrative reporting to donors Demonstrated experience with initiating, planning, and executing projects in the relevant sector Good interpersonal and communication skills Fluency and proficient writing skills in English, and professional level Norwegian (oral)
