The Norwegian Refugee Council in South Sudan is looking for a Project Manager to manage two Protection and Information, Counselling & Legal Assistance (ICLA) teams in Jonglie. The Project Manager has overall responsibility for implementation of project activities in three operational locations, including budget monitoring and ensuring donor and internal compliance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Take lead in all internal and external project and budget reporting, including to OFDA. Evaluate, review and perform quality control of ongoing and completed activities in reference to the project proposal in the relevant areas.
Qualifications
Degree in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or Social Sciences (Master’s degree would be advantageous)
Minimum 3 years of experience in either overseeing project implementation in a humanitarian context
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Demonstrated expertise in Protection, Protection Monitoring, or ICLA
Knowledge about own manager skills/profile
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Experience managing OFDA grant a plus
Experience with data management and analysis is an advantage
Ability to live and work in an insecure and challenging environment.

Contract Period: Up to 31 August 2020, with possible extension dependent on funding
Start Date: ASAP
