Tearfund is hiring a Programme Lead for the country office in Ethiopia.

Tearfund is a UK based, Christian NGO working in over 45 of the poorest countries around the world, to lift people out of poverty, using local partners and churches wherever possible. Tearfund has been working in Ethiopia since the 1970s. Along with our in-country partners, we have supported the establishment and development of more than 20,000 self-help groups (SHGs) across 50 locations in Ethiopia, as a sustainable, holistic approach to fighting poverty.

The Programmes Lead is responsible for leading and managing Tearfund supported development and humanitarian projects with partners. This includes the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Tearfund and partner project activities. The role is responsible for leading, managing and capacity building team; delivering on quality and accountability commitments, and for ensuring Tearfund policies and procedures are adhered to by staff and partners.

The role is also responsible for supporting partners and country project coordinators, and teams in producing and submitting internal and external narrative and financial reports to donors, government and Tearfund strategic partners.
