Here’s where you come in:

As Program Manager, South Sudan, you will provide administrative leadership of the Northern Bahr el Ghazal (NBEG) State. Supervise DFAT Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) activities at state level and technical support in Cash/Food for Assets (C/FFA) projects under the BRACE II and WFP programme in North Bahr Ghazal State. To represent WV SS at state level in coordination meetings as well as stakeholder engagements.

Requirements include:

  • University degree or qualification in Agriculture Engineering, Food Security or other related field.
  • 3-5 years proven experience in Emergency programmes or Social Development with at least 2 years of that experience in and F/CFA programming a must.
  • Must have the skills in design of simple structures and assets.
  • Strong project management background is required.
  • Strong coordination skills and working with/in consortiums an added advantage.
  • Experience in working with clusters and working groups/community of practice an added advantage.
  • Strong experience in managing staff, partners and facilitating capacity building.
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of Arabic communication skills an added advantage.
  • Ability to travel in country to all states and across the border for training, assessment, regular monitoring and evaluation a must.
