Purpose of Job

The Principal, Donor Visibility oversees and coordinates communications on official co-financing activities at the Bank. They oversee publication and promotion of official co-financing activities and investments at the Bank. To achieve this, the Principal will have a comprehensive network of donor country contacts, including the relevant constituency offices, as well as a network of EBRD contacts, including EBRD senior management.

This role will be offered as a 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

The Principal, Donor Visibility coordinates the strategy for EU donor visibility across the Donor Visibility team and is expected to demonstrate initiative, manage multiple tasks and work without supervision.

The main accountabilities and responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and lead the EU donor visibility work, to ensure EU donor visibility objectives are achieved.
• Identify opportunities for highlighting EU donor-funded activities, in order to actively promote EBRD-EU donor partnerships.
• Develop and prepare a range of written and multimedia products such as case studies, articles and videos, social media for use on the intranet, internet and print publications, to raise EU donor visibility and keep external and internal stakeholders engaged and informed.
• Coordinate and produce reports on EU donor visibility activities
• Plan and manage EU visibility activities and corresponding EU budget
• Advise EBRD senior management and the Donor Visibility team on EU donor activities, ensuring that they are equipped with the correct level of information to make informed decisions.

  Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • Relevant university degree.

    Experience

    • Extensive experience in donor-related activities and promotion of donor-related activities.
    • Several years of writing experience.

      Technical skills

      • Good leadership skills with management potential.
      • Highly literate, with excellent writing skills and the ability to generate compelling, articulate content.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as effective, persuasive and diplomatic communications skills.
      • Ability to assimilate facts quickly and effectively.
      • Proven ability to operate in a complex multinational, multicultural work environment with continuously changing priorities.
      • Ability to manage complex and challenging projects and initiatives.
      • Ability to oversee and maximise use and benefit of multiple communications platforms, including the internet, intranet, digital and print publications, presentations and events.
