- Legislative framework and evidence-based policy environment are strengthened and non-discriminatory social norms promoted to enable all PwDs to effectively enjoy their rights;
- Existing pilot of disability status assessment system based on the social model of disability is expanded to at least one more region of Georgia;
- Capacities for data collection, monitoring and advocacy improved for the implementation of Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD, International Conference on Population and Development Programme of Action (ICPD PoA), Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), Beijing Platform for Action (BFPA), Universal Periodic Review (UPR), Commission on the Status of Women (CSW);
- Equal employment opportunities promoted and expanded for all PwDs regardless of age and sex.
- Gender-sensitive disability assessment and status determination system transformed based on social model;
- Systems strengthened to enable quality integrated services for PwDs, including revised social system entitlements, especially for children, women and young people.
- Contribute to planning and effective implementation of the Programme activities;
- Monitor the quality and impact of the programme activities and report to the Project Manager on a regular basis;
- Provide expertise on the rights of persons with disabilities on the relevant documents as well as other activities in the frames of programme;
- Communicate with non-governmental organizations working on persons with disability issues;
- Prepare expert analysis on pieces of draft laws and existing legislation vis a vis CRPD;
- Contribute to raising public awareness on the rights of persons with disabilities in Georgia;
- Support preparation of awareness raising materials on persons with disabilities;
- Participate in the roundtable meetings with civil society organizations, governmental institutions, mass media and other national and international stakeholders;
- Serve as a resource person and expert on disability issues for Government counterparts and UNDP management when required;
- Analyse recommendations issued to Georgia by CRPD Committee related to project outputs and suggest measures on their implementation;
- Contribute to the design of a narrative reports for the project;
- Ensure the maintenance of the related documentation (reports, correspondence, etc.);
- Act as a trainer as required;
- Perform other duties as required.

- Master's Degree or equivalent in Law, Public International Law, International Human Rights Law, social studies or relevant field.
- At least 3 years of work experience on the issues of persons with disabilities as an expert/practitioner is a must; over 5 years of persons with disabilities related work experience will be an asset;
- Experience in drafting reports on the rights of persons with disabilities;
- Experience in organization of workshops, seminars and conferences is a must;
- Excellent analytical and drafting skills;
- Computer skills;
- Experience in working as a consultant, preferably on rights of persons with disabilities would be an asset.
- Strong knowledge of international human rights law standards, including UN human rights instruments with a special focus on rights of persons with disabilities.
- Excellent spoken and written Georgian and English language skills.
