(SRD) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing humanitarian aid to Syrians affected by violence, hunger, poverty, injury and displacement. Our Mission is to provide crisis humanitarian relief and plant the seeds of sustainable development for the people of Syria. Main Objectives of this Position:
· Develop data base sheets and other tools/templates for effective data collection, entry and analysis.
· Support MEAL with data collection tool design and related efforts
· Perform data entry and data cleaning for surveys, assessments, evaluations, etc.
· perform basic data analysis Maintain record of raw data from assessment and surveys
· Support MEAL Officer with field staff as needed, such as preparing documentation and organizing and maintaining their files
· Integrate feedback from field focal points into accountability mechanisms across sectors
· Support with survey design, logistics for survey enumeration, and debriefing with survey staff
· Support any other needs of MEAL Department; including occasional data cleaning, data entry, data analysis
· Assist with writing internal and external reports to donors and other agencies
· Assist with translation of reports and data from Arabic to English and vice versa.
Skills and Qualification:
· Good report writing skills
· Bachelor degree in international relations, social sciences, economics, administration, or another related field
· Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
· Experience in data collection and analysis via quantitative and qualitative tools surveys preferred
· High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience with data management and data analysis software
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural setting
Good time management skills, ability to multi-task and set priorities
