How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?

We are seeking a Manager to join EGPAF’s New Business Development team to play a critical leadership role in the growth and diversification of EGPAF’s funding portfolio. Areas of focus will include identifying and pursuing resources to fund EGPAF’s strategic technical priorities, identifying new funding pipelines for the organization, and supporting efforts to expand EGPAF’s geographic and programmatic reach. The ideal candidate will be conversant in program efforts across the field of global health, with experience in key technical areas such as HIV, TB, and SRH/FP.

The candidate will be able to work across teams to translate complex technical subjects into funding concepts, pitch decks, and proposals. This will be accomplished by working closely with a range of exceptional colleagues in departments and countries across the organization. The ideal candidate will be energized by tracking emerging investments in the field of global health and will have exceptional facilitation and writing skills.

No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect in this role?

· Global Revenue Diversification and Growth

o Lead resource mobilization efforts for organization-wide technical priorities such as adolescents/youth, HIV prevention, HIV/FP integration, and new product introduction.**

o Assess new markets for growth through landscape and competitor analysis. **

o Identify funding opportunities and coordinate with technical teams to co-create pitch decks, concepts, and proposals. **

o Advance efforts to cultivate new, and grow existing partnerships to support resource mobilization efforts.

· Capture Planning and Proposal Development

o Lead end-to-end proposal development efforts across EGPAF’s diverse funding portfolio including USAID, CDC, multilateral, and philanthropic funders.

o Lead efforts to gather and analyze intelligence regarding upcoming new business opportunities and prepare EGPAF to successfully respond to solicitations.

o Lead the proposal development process, from capture planning to proposal development and submission.

o Coordinate cross-departmental proposal teams throughout the proposal planning and development process.

· Country level strategy and resource mobilization

o Support EGPAF’s country teams in resource mobilization planning and annual priority setting, landscape analysis, assessment of funding opportunities, and proposal development.

To be successful, you will have:

· 8 years of relevant experience with demonstrated success leading donor prospecting, landscape analysis, and proposal development across a diverse portfolio of donors.

· Master’s degree in a related field

· Ability to translate complex technical subjects into pitch decks, concepts, and proposals.

· Technical knowledge of HIV, TB, SRH/FP, and emerging COVID-19 programming.

· Strong facilitation and writing ability required, evidenced by successfully awarded grants and/or contracts or awards from other public and private sources.

· Proven ability to work effectively and multi-task as member of a dynamic inter-departmental team in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent organizational skills, detail- and goal-oriented, creative problem solving skills, and ability to work towards specific targets and goals.

· Ability to travel to support country program teams, up to 15-20% travel required, as conditions allow
