The Development and Outreach Department of Human Rights Watch (HRW) is seeking applicants for the position of Manager to focus on fundraising in Sweden. The Manager will lead the work on events in Sweden, including the HRW flagship fundraising event, the Voices for Justice Annual Dinner, develop strategic donor relations, and identify new fundraising channels. In collaboration with the Development and Outreach Team in Stockholm, the Manager will develop and maintain a portfolio of supporters, create campaigns, and enhance both internal and external communication. This full-time position will be based in our Stockholm office and will report to the Stockholm City Director, responsible for fundraising.
The successful candidate will be expected to work from the Stockholm office at least 3 days per week. We aim to be as flexible and supportive as possible in both the recruitment for and onboarding of this position.

Qualifications:
Education: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, social sciences, or related studies is required.
Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant fundraising experience is required, with a preference for some event planning experience.
