We are looking for an entrepreneurial Manager, Corporate Partnership who is passionate about championing children’s rights globally and contributing to our work in Canada in collaboration with the National Reconciliation Program (NRP), and Indigenous partners. You will apply your knowledge and experience in new business development and account management to lead and implement strategies for purpose-driven partnerships with top corporations across Canada and around the world. You will report to the Head, Philanthropy and Partnerships and be responsible for supervising and mentoring one direct report. You will also work collaboratively with key stakeholders across Save the Children’s global networks including executive leadership, board members and senior volunteers in order to engage new partners and continue to provide exceptional stewardship to existing supporters.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Responsible for achieving annual income portfolio targets, and securing multi-year funding aligned with the organization’s ambition to grow corporate partnerships. Lead new business generation efforts focused on developing and implementing multi-year plans for corporations capable of making annual contributions of six and seven figures. Create innovative partnership plans utilizing tactics to provide best in class experiences for large scale businesses through extensive knowledge of cause-marketing, sponsorship, employee giving and corporate philanthropy.In collaboration with the Partnerships and Philanthropy team, prepare pitches/proposals and present cases for support aligned with shared strategic priorities to advance social impact.Support the development of the corporate portfolio and employee engagements programs by creating and implementing processes, systems, tools and communication strategies. Develop and execute annual strategy to enhance relationship building in corporate partnerships and employee engagement including working with other departments to promote cross-channel innovation and growth.Regularly track and analyze key activity metrics against benchmarks for the corporate partnerships and employee engagement programs. Support the development of corporate fundraising budgets and take ownership for achieving fundraising targets including leading the day-to-day management of the budget and tracking information in relevant reporting tools.Maintain rigorous due diligence on corporate partnerships in Canada and contribute to related global processes.Supervise and mentor one direct report.Provide leadership to the executive management team and senior volunteers including board members supporting the corporate partnerships portfolio. Stay current on corporate partnerships landscape, evolving trends and best practices.Performing other tasks as required.

Qualifications & Competencies (include but are not limited to):

Completion of University degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing, International Development, Not-for-Profit Leadership, Business.Completion of the Community College Diploma in Fundraising Management, Fundraising Certificate.A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in fundraising with preference given to a corporate partnerships background. Proven track record in development and account management with corporate partnerships or relevant experience in B2B sales. CSR and/or CFRE not required, but an asset.Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with prospects and partners.Creative and innovative; able to identify and develop new opportunities and adapt to changing situations.A critical thinker with experience or interest in decolonization and reconciliation.Works in an explicit and self-aware manner that enables them to manage and express emotions and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.A skilled organizer with excellent time management abilities, strong attention to detail and able to multi-task. Goal and results oriented with the ability to drive projects through to completion despite unanticipated setbacks/challenges.Skilled negotiator.

 What We Offer

This position salary range between $ 70,150.00 $ 84,180.00 CAD depending on skills and experience. In addition to this, our employees will have the following package of additional benefits:
