How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?
We are seeking a Manager for our Awards, Compliance & International Operations (ACIO) team to provide leadership in USG Contract compliance. The Manager serves as a key resource in helping the ACIO team ensure compliance and efficient operations throughout the US and Africa, which ultimately helps EGPAF reach its mission.
No two days are alike at EGPAF, but what can you expect as a Manager?
USAID Contract Administration
The Foundation has won its first USG prime contract and is seeking an individual to contribute to our contract management as described below:
· Serves as a subject matter expert in USAID contracts, specifically AIDAR, FAR, and contract terms and conditions and maintains up-to-date awareness of changing regulations. **
· Training: Create and implement a training program around USAID Contract compliance for relevant country and HQ staff. Create, disseminate, and maintain relevant guidance documents for USAID Contract Implementation as needed.
Country Support
Staff Oversight and Management
· Potentially manage a team of DC based staff members who provide day-to-day support to Contracts, Grants, and Procurement staff globally.
· Provide onboarding and continuous training and mentorship to assigned positions on the DC team to ensure high quality service standards within the department.
Other
To be successful, you will have…
Minimum 8 years’ experience in contracts administration
Knowledge of U.S. Government acquisition regulations, such as FAR and AIDAR
Knowledge of contract management and procurement life cycle
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written), including editing and writing. Ability to make presentations to large groups as a subject matter expert and to facilitate technical discussions in assigned areas
Excellent organizational skills and computer skills (e.g. ability to easily learn new systems and tools); detailed oriented
Ability to think logically and analytically, rapidly assess diverse information, draw correct conclusions, and concisely present them to staff at all levels of the organization
Bonus points if you have…
· Proficiency in French or Portuguese
· Relevant certifications
· International experience and/or experience in a diverse cross-cultural environment, preferably with an international non-profit organization
