Generic responsibilities

Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines Assist with the implementation of the logistic function’s portfolio according to Plan of Action Promote anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus in all processes (e.g. in procurement, vehicles management, and facilities management) Prepare and develop status reports as required by management Prepare and file all supporting documents related to logistic function’s portfolio Line management of the Drivers and Guards Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager

Generic professional competencies:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Logistician with a local NGO, international NGO, or the private sector. Previous experience from working in a humanitarian/recovery context Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities A degree or a diploma in a related subject Good working knowledge of English both written and spoken Good knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) Valid driver’s license The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian organisation helping people forced to flee.
