What we need: A long-term caseworker who can commit to volunteering for a period of at least 6 months. Preference will be given to people who can demonstrate prior experience in asylum law or who have worked in the refugee sector. Knowledge of the Greek refugee context is not required but would be very beneficial.

Benefit: A challenging and fulfilling work experience with beneficiaries and other actors involved in the refugee crisis in Northern Greece. You will gain in-depth knowledge of asylum procedures in Greece and family reunification processes. As a long-term volunteer, you will be heavily involved in all aspects of our casework, have your own caseload and over time gain a higher level of responsibility. To facilitate your time here, we are able to offer a compensation of 400 Euros per month.

Where: Thessaloniki, Greece. Remote start for training and shadowing is possible.

Commitment: To be able to offer continuity to the people we support, we are looking for a commitment of at least 6 months. Strong preference will be given to candidates who are able to commit to longer.
