Concern Worldwide has an IT team based in Dublin and IT Officers based in all our countries, and together we support and develop systems that allow our staff to work with each other, collect and use important data, communicate with partners, report to donors, and manage our work effectively.

We are looking for a skilled person to join our Dublin IT team and manage our Microsoft Sharepoint and Teams environment for 1 year to cover leave. This person will be part of a small dynamic team and work with many aspects of the organisation, but also needs to work independently behind the scenes to keep our services structured, safe and available.

Job Purpose:

  • Maintain and develop Sharepoint and Teams online environments to enable safe and suitable use by staff across our global operation
  • Work with colleagues in IT and other departments on digital change projects to improve the way we work

Key Responsibilities:

System Admin

  • Responsible for development, maintenance and support of Microsoft 365 environment focusing on Sharepoint online, Teams and MS Power Platform
  • Ensures infrastructure changes and upgrades are well managed with no negative impact on services using a weekly checklist
  • Contributing to the design of system governance, policies, and procedures based on business needs
  • Oversight on security of user access across systems within the environment to ensure staff can access what they need while keeping data secure
  • Analysing user insights for Microsoft systems and help inform approaches to user adoption and training

User Support

  • Responding to user queries via the IT helpdesk e.g. Permission changes, resolving issues for people using Sharepoint online and/or Teams
  • Supporting existing bespoke in-house Sharepoint online solutions (sites, workflows, flowforma)
  • Managing requests for Microsoft 365 solution modifications and ensuring clear change management controls
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of staff training sessions/materials for new services
  • Producing IT Support and User documentation for active IT projects

Digital Workplace Project

  • Provide support and services for other IT projects including the Digital Workplace which will require input and technical advice from this role e.g. UAT test lifecycle
  • Work with Microsoft Partners, create, customise and rollout fit for purpose SharePoint sites for departments/business functions in Dublin home and global offices
  • Delivery of additional back up or DR solutions for Microsoft 365 where required

IT Solutions

  • Help support our programs by providing suitable digital solutions for problems experienced by staff in home and overseas offices
  • Provide weekly status updates on active projects for Solution Delivery Manager

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint Online and related systems (Flow/Power automate, Power apps, Teams, Infopath)
  • Skilled in managing data migration projects in collaboration with staff (data owners)
  • Ability to manage and implement backup and disaster solutions relating to SharePoint
  • Basic understanding of front end programming languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS etc.)
  • Understanding of lifecycle of new solutions from Dev, to UAT to Live
  • Understanding of PowerApps and willingness to upskill if required to support existing tools

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of SharePoint on premise infrastructure up to SharePoint 2019
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Power Query and Excel Macros for reporting requirements
  • Able to design and deliver bespoke training to staff in classroom and online settings
  • Automating tasks in windows PowerShell

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience working in an IT support role or similar
  • 2+ years in managing SharePoint and Microsoft 365 infrastructure
  • 3+ years of experience with UI development using CSS, HTML, JavaScript
  • 3+ years managing Windows Server technology stack
