5 months Duties and Responsibilities

ASYCUDA Programme is undertaking e-Customs and Single Window implementations and maintenance projects in the transition economies region. There is a high demand from beneficiary countries for the systematized technical documentation, adopted to the regional specifics.

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the incumbent will undertake following duties

- Preparation of updated version of documentation of the regional version of ASYCUDA and Single Window
- Preparation of updated documentation for regional version of e-Customs warehousing sub-system;
- Preparation of updated documentation for regional version of user-manuals and administrator guides
- Preparation of updated documentation for electronic guarantee management;
- Providing methodological advise to ASYCUDA developers on customization of software components to the regional specifics Qualifications/special skills

A first university degree, Bachelor, in project management, technical science, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area.
At least 5 years of experience of work in ICT project management with experience of design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications, dealing with customs automation and Single Window systems methodology and documentation is required
Experience of working for an international organization is an advantage. Experience of working in the transition economies region would be an advantage. Languages

Fluency written and oral in Russian with knowledge of English is required
