Purpose of Job

The Intern, Impact is responsible for supporting ongoing work streams to strengthen transition impact and related results management at the EBRD, including contributing to:

  • analytical and process work related to the Bank's transition impact results architecture and project review cycle;
  • preparation of briefing notes and/or presentations for VP Policy & Partnership senior management’s contributions to relevant committees under the guidance of Director, Impact;
  • supporting the design and roll-out of an improved IT system related to Impact;
  • providing ad hoc support and conduct other tasks as requested by Director Impact and associated team.

    Accountabilities & Responsibilities

    Support the operationalisation of the EBRD’s Transition Impact and results architecture through contributing to:

    • Supporting the Impact pillar Director in managing the project review cycle – including OpsCom, SBIC, Grant Review and TIMS as needed.
    • Provides support to Director, Impact on sector on analytical reports towards better communication on the Sustainable Development Goals and the global development agenda, and results framework in coordination with the Analytics & Results team;
    • Assisting in the preparation of briefing notes and/or presentations for VP Policy & Partnership senior management’s (VP, MD and Directors) contributions to committees (ExCom, SP Com, EquityCom and RiskCom).
      • Supporting the preparation of country-based report for external stakeholders
        • Supporting the design and roll-out of an improved IT system related to Impact ;
        • Providing ad hoc support and conduct other tasks as requested by Director Impact and associated team.

          Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Qualifications

          • Degree or student in economics, business administration or related field
          • Strong analytical and synthesizing skills with the ability to interpret transition impact/economic related information
          • Strong quantitative skills, a strong knowledge of analytical software and managing datasets is an advantage;
          • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
          • Good organisational skills, including the ability to plan and work with limited supervision;
          • Experience in impact assessment, results-based project and in managing project information management systems would be an advantage.
