The HR Team leads the development of HR Strategy, HR operations, talent management, performance management, learning and development, as well as compensation and benefits at Gavi.
As a HR intern, you will support the HR Team on key initiatives enabling you to broaden your understanding of the role of HR in an international organisation and how HR contributes to the organisation’s success. These include projects in the areas of performance management and talent development, staff wellbeing as well as diversity, equity and inclusion.
You will conduct research on a diverse range of HR topics, undertake data collection and analysis, creating graphically engaging presentations and materials for internal and external use.

We are seeking 2 graduate degree-level (Bachelors-level minimum) interns with diverse skill-sets and backgrounds to join our team at this exciting time to support our work to ensure the Gavi delivers on its mission to save lives and protect people’s health.
The duration for these internship positions is August 2022 – February 2023 with some flexibility for start dates although six-month duration is preferred.

KEY RESULTS EXPECTED
Play an active role in key projects such as:
• Talent Management/Learning and Development;
• Research and development on various HR topics;
• Performance Management Process (PMP) redesign, including training roll-out;
• Preparation of creative and engaging presentations;
• Data analytics and reporting, including use of dashboards and data presentation;
• Assist with Health & Wellbeing committee strategy roll out. Main Duties/Responsibilities• Provide support to Talent & Performance and Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) during PMP process, inclusive of: completion of end of year reviews, objective setting assistance to staff and manager;
• Prepare and design communications to staff on HR activities;
• Creation of presentations for management and staff on HR topics;
• Provide support for ongoing HR projects;
• HR data analysis.

Work Experience Skills/Competencies• Concise and engaging written and spoken communication skills in English;
• Advanced skills in MS Powerpoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office tools;
• Well-developed quantitative skills and proficiency in data analysis;
• Creative outlook;
• Good understanding of data collection and analysis;
• Excellent team player;
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight time pressure;
• Continually keen to improve.
Languages• Fluent in English. Academic Qualifications• University degree or in the process of completing a degree - ideally in HR, psychology, social studies, or business or related field.
