We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of internship for a Communication and MEL Intern in Cambodia for the USAID Civil Society Support (CSS) Activity. The CSS Activity is a three-year and ten months, $8.5 million USAID-funded project implemented by FHI 360 and its partner, the International Center for Not-for-Profit Law (ICNL). CSS will strengthen civil society through support for increased coordination and collective action, an improved enabling environment, and innovative approaches to advocacy. The overall goal of the project is a civil society that is more able to protect civic space, to strengthen democratic reforms, and to promote and protect human rights.

Job Summary:

The MEL Intern will provide support to CSS MEL implementation for CSS and its sub-grantees The position will report directly to the CSS MEL Specialist.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Communication and social media

  • Work with grantees to ensure that contents are scheduled and posted in a timely manner on their respective social media channels.
  • Manage the social media calendar for the project.
  • Assist the Communications specialist in brainstorming content and campaign ideas.
  • Design event/program fliers, graphics and other marketing material
  • Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and tools for communications
