SRD Center seeks a consultant to provide a 10-day training workshop in Jordan to create a genuine partnership between entrepreneurial sectors and academic institutions to better understand the desired goals and the real situation of industry needs, as well as to overcome obstacles. The training techniques will use the online training that ensures interactive participation from trainees

The training workshop should be designed to support the newly developed course that focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship, which aims to increase the employability of youth. The topic introduces innovation and entrepreneurship terminologies and concepts and equips the students with theoretical and practical approaches and learning methodologies to enable them to discover opportunities and boost their own capacity in this field. The course entails the following areas: Entrepreneurial thinking and innovation; culture and systems; business planning and modelling; projects and small enterprises management; social entrepreneurship; intellectual property; technology; design and construct a prototype for the developed entrepreneurial idea; ideation and teaming; writing a comprehensive business plan; and sensitization on issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion.

The consultant will contribute in developing the training material on (Advanced Innovation and Entrepreneurship Online Training of Trainers). The training should provide tools, resources, information and training to address specific topics related to innovation and entrepreneurship to be shared with trainees virtually. The online training module should be developed as follows, noting that the online training will be delivered in English language on the following key topics:

1. Course Orientation

2. Innovation: Definition, Types, Approaches and Examples

3. Introduction to Entrepreneurship

4. Teaming

Competencies for the Consultant

• PhD degree in Social Science, Political Sciences, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting training programs on advance Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
• The targeted trainees for this assignment are university professors or faculty members, whom are all PHD holders, accordingly
• Sectoral expertise and experience in emergency projects (mandatory).
• Experience of effective interaction with local non-government organizations, government departments, and population.
• Strong established field-based structure to enable autonomous data collection.
• Evidence of similar training works in the recent years.
