Job Title: Humanitarian Affairs Consultant

Reports to: Turkey Country Director/Syria Project Coordinator
Duration of Initial Contract: Full-time/ 4 Months with possibility for extension
Work Location: Gaziantep, TURKEY

Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: master’s degree or Relevant educational background in management, development studies or closely related fields and knowledge of the UN.
Experience:
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience;
· At least 2 - 3 years of experience in Syrian Crisis response programs;
· At least 2 years of remote management and coordination experience
Language:
· Fluent English and Arabic
Required Skills:
· Knowledge and understanding of the complexity related to refugee and IDP situations.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Very high level of communication skills
· Advanced computer skills, specifically in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Good knowledge of cloud & data sharing applications (Google drive, Dropbox…).
· Ability to travel regionally
· Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.
· High diplomacy, cultural sensitivity and security awareness.
· Excellent Reporting Skills.
· Develop and introduce vehicle/Transportation monitoring tools.
