Salary Grade: Level C on the MSF Canada Salary Grid, $68,109 per year

Status: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; MSF Canada is not in the position to support a work permit process for any applicant outside of Canada

Impact Statement

The Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) team is a critical part of the HR department and provides first line support
to MSF Canada’s HQ and International Mobile Staff. As the data focal point for the HR team, the HRSS officer will help to
advance and develop the team’s analytical capabilities to support data driven decisions and ensure that operational
needs are being met.

Key Responsibilities

HR Information Systems - Acts as a technical lead for IT systems within the HR department (Ceridian Dayforce, Hero, Concur, etc.) and provides guidance to HR teams on using the system Contracting and Payroll - Oversees HR Administrator’s preparation and submission of monthly and semi-monthly payroll report to the Finance and Administration Department and guides HR Administrators on resolution of special payroll related cases Service Delivery and Special Case Management - Supports HR Administrators with responding to complex correspondence and administrative queries relating to leaves, compensation, benefits etc. from MSF Canada employees Compensation & Benefits - Oversees the implementation of the compensation and job evaluation process with oversight from HR Managers and completes compensation evaluations for new and amended job profiles and seconded positions Data and Reporting - Coordinate with the HR Managers to compile metrics and analytics for the HR department’s monthly KPIs, dash boarding and annual reporting cycles (6M and 12M), contributing to the analysis and reflections therein

Knowledge and Experience

Experience as an HR generalist, or similar Working knowledge/experience of multiple human resource disciplines, including comp/ben and federal and
provincial employment laws Comfortable navigating databases and data extraction Proven experience using MS Excel proficiently; Familiarity with PowerBI Experience in Office 365; Familiarity with workforce management software (e.g. HERO or Ceridien Dayforce)

Education and Languages

Education (or theoretical training) in a field related to Human Resources, or an equivalent amount of
professional experience English language proficiency (spoken and written) required French language proficiency (spoken and written) required
