Tetra Tech International Development (http://www.tetratech.com/intdev) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a full-time Human Resources Generalist, focusing on compensation and employment negotiations.

In this unique role, you will be primarily responsible for setting rates and negotiating compensation levels for our incoming employees, ensuring salary offers are set appropriately, equitably and are aligned across our organization. You will conduct employment negotiations as well as oversee the administration of all international and domestic job offers. You will work across many departments and have exposure to the important work we do.

While it’s preferred that this position is located in Burlington, Vermont, it can be performed remotely.

Your primary responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

* Review and develop salary and allowance packages with project, proposal and home office teams for expat and US-Based candidates.

* Providing support to proposal recruitment teams on rate setting for local candidates all over the globe.

* Participate in salary surveys, review market data trends and make recommendations on rate adjustments.

* Identify ways to refine and continuously improve repeatable methods, processes, and tools for compensation analysis and administration and coach others in their use.

* Conduct analysis of jobs and salaries in order to evaluate internal equity and external competitiveness.

What we are looking for:

* A Degree in Human Resource Management, or related field

* At least three years of experience working in Human Resources functions including compensation administration, recruitment and/or onboarding

* Familiarity with international donor-related work preferred

* Experience working with market-driven base compensation programs preferred

* Experience and familiarity with relevant industry survey data, the GS pay scale, and/or Foreign Service scales (FSN) and job structures preferred

* Excellent Excel skills

* Familiarity with HIPAA, FLSA and other relevant HR laws

* Proven high level of discretion and good judgement handling sensitive and/or confidential information

* Ability to work in the US without employer sponsorship
