Organizational Setting

The Shared Services Centre (SSC) recommends and administers process management and procedures that need to be executed effectively; ensures the management of quality assurance activities associated with the transactional processes and implementation of service delivery; continuously improves the satisfaction of its customers, internal or external, while pursuing a continuous improvement agenda that will drive up service excellence while driving down the costs of service delivery through process standardization, process automation and self-service capabilities.
The position is located in the Shared Services Centre in Budapest, Hungary.


Reporting Lines

The Human Resources Assistant will report to the Communication and Information Associate in the SSC Head Office. He or she will receive functional guidance from the Head of HR Services.


Technical Focus

Administration and client support in the delivery of HR services and processes to the Shared Services Centre; operational aspects of recruitment and induction processes. 


Tasks and responsibilities

•    Provide support to the recruitment of SSC personnel ensuring all operational aspects are completed in accordance with corporate procedures and following best practice. Assist with the screening of applications, organize the logistics of written tests and language examinations; set up job interviews and provide assistance to selection panels in all aspects of the selection process;
•    Work as part of a team to deliver activities and services through the application of relevant corporate policies, systems and tools that enable effective HR processes along the employee cycle – from hiring to separation;
•    Provide standard HR information to SSC personnel in a timely and effective manner: receive, review and respond to everyday internal and external requests, enquiries and claims, referring requests outside own knowledge base as appropriate;
•    Contribute to analysing HR requirements, information, data, statistics, trends, problems, and/or issues to support service delivery, new HR initiatives and projects for SSC and assist in the preparation of HR plans, strategies, reports, and/or other products;
•    Draft routine correspondence; create documents and presentations from a clear brief to support operational activities; assist with briefings and debriefings; take notes at meetings;
•    Arrange and/or support the organization of internal and external HR-related events;
•    Maintain personnel files and office systems ensuring accuracy, completeness, confidentiality and timeliness of information;
•    Perform other duties as required.

 

CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING

Minimum Requirements    

•    Secondary School education
•    Two years of relevant experience in in administrative and human resources support work
•    Working knowledge of English
•    Legal resident in Hungary
•    Excellent knowledge and experience of using office software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, databases and communications).
