The Role

The Human Resource & OD Manager will provide strategic leadership and technical support to the Country Office as well as oversight in all aspects of People and Culture (P&C) across the organization with aims of optimizing the organizational performance and sustaining the desired culture. The position provides support, to the Country Director, and the entire Country Management Team in aligning employees to the organizational strategies, goals and priorities as well as the organizations vision, mission and values.

The Person

The scope of this position makes it very challenging, thus requiring a dynamic and organised individual who is results oriented, energetic and experienced people manager who can analyse and resolve problems with impact in the defined area with the following:

· BA Degree in HRM/Social Sciences or related qualification. Master’s in human resources or equivalent will be an added advantage

· Professional qualifications in HR

· Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in HR business partnering position or Senior HR generalist in a leading international organization, last three at a similar or senior level.

· Substantial knowledge of the concepts of national employment law.

· Experience as a senior business advisor towards management on strategic HR including Change Management and organisational development.

· Able to provide leadership and direction on all HR issues at the same time while balancing the strategic role with the need to deliver effective day-to-day HR services.

· Good written and verbal communication and advisory skills, accurate, just, analytical.

· Convincing and influencing skills.
