Generic responsibilities

  1. Contribute to regular HSS risk assessments and to the implementation of mitigation measures
  2. Support in the implementation of HSS measures to ensure compliance with NRC HSS plans
  3. Support the training of staff in safety and security
  4. Support in the monitoring of security incidents and provide regular briefings and updates
  5. Ensure vehicle and staff movements are monitored according to procedures and that necessary safety and security equipment are available and in good condition

    Specific responsibilities

    1. Provide regular HSS related updates to HSS Officer and Area Manager
    2. Provide inputs for daily and weekly security briefings, as well as other updates and reports as per need
    3. Support the HSS Officer in regular HSS risk assessments
    4. Monitor vehicle and staff movements according to NRC movement SOPs and other HSS plans
    5. Ensure availability, monitoring and tracking of necessary and functional safety and security equipment
    6. Ensure compliance of NRC operations and premises with MOS and MOIS standards and other HSS plans (including Cobid-19 SOPs)

      Critical interfaces

      By interfaces, NRC means processes and projects that are interlinked with other departments/units or persons. Relevant interfaces for this position are:

      1. HSS Officer and Area Manager
      2. Drivers and guards
      3. Logistics Officers/Assistants
      4. Programme staff in Benghazi and Ajdabyia
