Coordinator: Program


Key Responsibilities Include:
• Leading the coordination and chairing of meetings with provincial departments of health officials and District Support Partners
• Ensuring routine reporting and ongoing stakeholder engagements with PDoH and district DoH at all levels
• Participating in meetings with PDoH and district DoH officials
• Providing Technical Assistance to Provincial and District Management teams
• Documenting meeting outcomes and tracking action items
• Contributing to key program reporting deliverables, including, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required
• Developing a technical approach to effectively respond to activities in the scope of work
• Collaborating with other members of the project team to ensure that deliverables meet the needs of the scope of work
• Ensuring the overall technical and programmatic quality and outputs of the activity
• Conducting progress check-ins on a fortnightly basis with AOR and POC for this activity
• Developing, in collaboration with DoH, guidelines, tools, policies, and procedures that inform HRH support
• Carrying out all other duties as may be designated by the supervisor

Requirements:
• Professional Nursing degree/BCMP degree. (retired medical doctors will be considered)
• 5-10 years experience in a clinic / primary health care setting. HIV experience is essential;
• Interest in pursuing public health and/or HIV-related work as a profession
• Familiarity with the district and provincial Departments of Health, preferably experienced in stakeholder engagement
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Good computer skills including word and excel
• A valid driver’s license and own vehicle
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent public speaking abilities, strong written and
• verbal English skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail-oriented
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred
• Ability to analyze data, or interest in learning to analyze data is important
• Must have telephone speaking skills and the ability to communicate well in a group situation
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
• Able to demonstrate the ability to respond with sensitivity to people of diverse cultures, various lifestyles, and diagnoses
• Excellent customer services skills
