Job Title: Program Manager I -- Homes and Communities

Reports to: Sr. PM for Emergencies

Department: CRS Uganda Emergency Response

Job Summary:
You will manage programming for the CRS Uganda Homes and Communities pilot and scale up in both Kyangwali and Bidibidi Refugee Settlements, designing, implementing and growing the project as results from the pilot are understood. Your management skills and knowledge will ensure that the Country Program delivers high-quality programming and continuously works towards improving the impact of its programming.

Basic Qualifications
* Master's Degree in International Development, International Relations or related field required. Additional experience may substitute for some education.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant field-based experience in coordinating or managing light to moderately complex projects required, preferably with an international NGO.
* Additional experience may substitute for some education.

Required Languages - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to write technical reports.

Travel -- Based in Kampala. Must be willing and able to travel up to 50% to the field.

Preferred Qualifications
* Project management experience in remote management settings.
* Proven experience in proposal development and resource mobilization.
* Experience engaging with partner organizations.
* Experience contributing to the development of technical proposals.
* MEAL skills and experience preferred.
* Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, information management systems.

Supervise up to 5 national staff who will be based in Kyangwali or Bidibidi.
