About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the implementation of an innovative employment programme being implemented in urban areas. The premise is to create learning and innovative evidence-based approaches for disability inclusion and best practice.

You will head up the consortium of leading INGOs, institutions and national partners ensuring the effective design and implementation of activities and impact to ensure delivery of commitments in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. You will coordinate between the agencies, liaise with funders as well as the Consortium Steering Committee and you will be accountable for contract management, compliance, and reporting.

The role will also be responsible for Leonard Cheshire’s Technical Inclusion Unit including economic inclusion, sexual and reproductive health, capacity building and youth development. The position will provide strategic leadership globally to ensure growth and recognition of our EI programmes.

About You

You will have a relevant post graduate qualification along with significant experience at senior level in programme management and leadership, working in consortia, partnerships, or equivalent complex structures.

You will be experienced at working with the funding mechanisms of bilateral donors and bring strong financial management skills. You will have designed and used monitoring and evaluation systems, have strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and be able to spend approximately 25% of your time travelling internationally to visit programme sites – only once that is possible following safety measures.
