Provides support to the LFO investigations of misconduct, malfeasance, mismanagement,
fraud, corruption, waste of resources, abuse of authority or other violations of UNRWA's
regulations, rules and administrative instructions in accordance with UNRWA's established
investigative guidelines and policies;
Assists in collating and organizing investigative tools to be utilized in translation of
complaints, witness and subject statements;
Provides support to field staff assigned to conduct investigations and assists in preparing
relevant reports accordingly;
Gathers and compiles data needed for conducting research on policies/manuals and other
relevant materials concerning grievances;
Prepares monthly Grievances and Investigations Statistics;
Orders supplies for office use;
Carries out routine actions requiring the gathering and compiling of files and other
information; contacts other organisations, departments and units to obtain or co-ordinate
material or information as required;
Maintains and updates a computerized system (I-Sight case management system) of all
information related to investigations and grievances and its follow-up status with internal
staff;
Arranges for and may attend meetings as requested; may prepare summaries of such meetings
if instructed by his/her supervisor and follows up accordingly;
Brings forward matters to the attention of supervisor/s, including deadlines and pending
matters and handles routine correspondences, as required;
Performs such other duties may be assigned.
