NRC has been working in Venezuela since 2005, providing assistance to Colombian refugees and host communities. With the change of the situation in the last few years, NRC has gradually expanded its target group from Colombian refugees to work more with the Venezuelan vulnerable population.
NRC has offices in San Cristóbal, San Antonio, Caracas, Puerto Ordaz and will soon open new offices in Maracaibo and Apure.
The Grants Manager will contribute to achieving high quality programming by ensuring effective grants management including, compliance requirements, reporting, timely and quality proposal development, and internal and external communication. S/he ensures NRC programme/support teams are fully informed of relevant donor compliance regulations and NRC procedures, manages donor and other external reporting, and coordinates grant revisions. S/he also supports donor communication by ensuring effective channels of internal and external communications relating to grants are established and respected. The Grants Manager supports development of proposals and opportunity identification, as required.
The Grants Manager reports to the Head of Programme.

Strong organisational and team working skills;
Familiar with Venezuela and Latin America context
Ability to use Logical Framework Approach as a tool in project/program design and follow-up
Knowledge of rules and regulations of key donors and partners is an asset, mainly NMFA, SIDA, EU (ECHO, DEVCO), SDC, USG (PRM, OFDA) and the UN.

Duty station: Caracas, Venezuela with approx 30 % travel .
Caracas is a non-family duty station
