Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Finance Support Manage (West and Central Africa) to join our team in London, UK.
To provide an efficient, relevant and timely support finance service to all countries within West & Central Africa where Malaria Consortium operates, with a strong focus on providing budgeting, financial accounting and analytical reporting support to in-country management, both finance and project staff.
The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years working in a financial management role
  • Experience of working abroad or in a multi-country reporting environment
  • Strong financial accounting skills
  • Experience in co-ordinating and consolidating budgets and forecasts across countries
  • Excellent computer skills with high advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills; experience of producing management accounts
  • Ability to work with staff remotely and form effective working relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience of developing and implementing new financial reports, systems and information
  • Attention to detail and effective troubleshooting
  • Experience in training, developing and managing staff
  • Strong ability to be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of French to be able to explain finance matters to staff
  • Willingness to travel to the countries in the region
