Job Purpose

Recording and auditing all financial operations for all projects in accordance with the financial policy

Key Responsibilities

Prepares project drawings for new projects updates the ongoing drawings regularly, and helps analyze the spending
rate of projects.
Revenue recording according to each donor
Prepares data to support the answer to various donors’ queries
Miscellaneous accounting and liquidation of operational advances
Ensures correct coding for Payment requests and other required documents
Submit periodic reports on cash and expenditures not charged to projects' paper and electronic archiving

Note: the above-mentioned vital responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Depending on the department's organizational chart, other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

Essential

A university degree in economics/accounting major is the preferred experience in the Accounting system
Fluent in English / Turkish language is advanced
An advanced user in the use of micro-soft Office programs - specifically Word Excel
Proficiency in using the Internet and electronic messaging programs
The ability to work overtime and withstand work pressure
The ability to work dynamically with the team or alone

Desirable:

Good communication skills and the ability to speak with individuals in the refugee community as well as all protection actors in
the field respectfully.
Good organization and reporting skills.
Energy to work long hours and be working with the community all-day Positive attitude, team player, and willingness
to learn
