We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of: Infectious Diseases Detection and Surveillance (IDDS) Finance and Operations Officer in Cambodia.
Overview: Infectious Disease Detection and Surveillance (IDDS) is a five-year USAID-funded project with the following overall objectives: (1) Improve the detection of diseases of public health importance and identification of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in priority infectious diseases through an accessible, accurate, adaptable, timely, and integrated diagnostic network system; (2)Improve the quality of real-time surveillance systems for pathogens of greatest public health concern, including AMR and zoonotic diseases, and; (3) Generate evidence-based guidance and innovative solutions to strengthen in-country diagnostic networks and surveillance systems. In Cambodia, the IDDS project will focus on activities to accelerate the diagnosis of TB, build off of activities and successes of USAID funded projects and enhance the impact of TB support provided by the Global Fund and the other USAID-funded projects.
SUMMARY:
The Finance and Operations Officer will provide support and assistance to the technical team on project finance and operations in Phnom Penh, will coordinate with the FHI 360 Country Office to provide financial and operational support. S/he will serve as point of contact for all logistical and finance needs for the IDDS project and will be responsible for operational and finance duties associated with travel and activity planning, logistics and procurement
arrangements, and facilitating financial document management of IDDS. The position will be based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
