Duties and Accountabilities

Liaising with HR and IT managers, as needed, and supporting all recruitment activities including head hunting and coordinating with external agencies on all ad hoc administrative duties

Advertising vacancies, tracking and monitoring recruitment progresses.

Monitoring, and reporting on position and candidate status, as well as ensuring appropriate parties have access to necessary information.

Ensuring candidates have a positive interview experience at WBG by being their main point of contact throughout their day

Liaison with the candidates, communication total reward package and answering other questions.

Assist with preparation of salary analysis.

Guiding and advising ITS hiring managers on the specifics of the local IT market: local market players and competition, hubs of competencies and potential donors; validating remunerations etc.

Driving the establishment of WBG presence in the local IT market as an important tech employer by identifying and organizing participations at local and regional tech events and coordinating all employer branding activities (marketing, PR, event participation, road shows, etc.)

Deliver recruitment related training.

Managing multiple tasks and action items (documentation, follow up and preparation) ensuring appropriate and timely action on deliverables

Support onboarding activities and initiatives; provide first level HR support and advice to the recruited IT staff

Provide support on other HR related topics, act as first level of support to staff.

Selection Criteria

Master's degree or equivalent in Administration, HR management, ITs or others, and preferably two years of relevant professional experience as recruiter or HR analyst, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Excellent knowledge of the local IT labor market (min 2 years as an IT recruiter strongly preferred)

IT literacy

Analytical ability/skills and proficiency in Excel

High levels of accuracy and attention to detail, meticulous and methodical

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bulgarian

Ability to work independently, with little supervision as well as within a team

Strong leadership skills, proactive and organized

Ability to multitask and prioritize

Understanding of human resources policies and practices
Note: The selected candidate will be offered a one-year appointment, renewable for an additional one year, at the discretion of the World Bank Group, and subject to a lifetime maximum ET Appointment of two years. If an ET appointment ends before a full year, it is considered as a full year toward the lifetime maximum. Former and current ET staff who have completed all or any portion of their second-year ET appointment are not eligible for future ET appointments.
