**Job Overview:**The Economic Empowerment department provides early employment, career development, financial coaching and asset-building, and small business development services to help clients achieve economic independence. Our educational programming works to ensure that the refugees and immigrants we serve have the skills and knowledge to become economically self-sufficient and resilient. The Education and Curriculum Development Specialist will work closely with team members to scope, design, and lead classroom-based (online, in-person, and hybrid) education including but not limited to Vocational English as Second Language (VESL), job readiness education, financial literacy education, nutrition education, digital literacy, and industry-specific and small business trainings. We anticipate that this position will involve approximately 40% instruction, 30% curriculum development, and 30% volunteer and intern training and administrative tasks.

Indirect Reporting: Economic Empowerment Program Coordinators
Other Internal and/or external contacts:
Internal: You will collaborate with internal programming including Early Employment and Career Development Departments, Financial Literacy Program Coordinator, Reception & Placement, and Health & Wellness.
External: You will develop working relationships with local service providers and community-based partners, as well as other stakeholders.
