Under the overall guidance and supervision of the IFAD Sub Regional Director, the Driver / Admin Clerk assists in the effective and efficient management of the office providing driving and administrative support management, applies and promotes a client-oriented approach consistent with IFAD rules and regulations, high sense of responsibility, courtesy, tact and the ability to work with people of different national and cultural backgrounds.

 

Summary of key functions:

  • Provision of reliable and secure driving services
  • Proper use of vehicle
  • Day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle
  • Availability of documents/supplies
  • Process utilities matters
  • Maintain records and provide logistical support to the office

Education:

Secondary Education. Valid Driver’s license.

Experience:

*Min 3 years’ work experience as a professional driver and administrative responsibilities (preferably with international organizations);

  • Safe driving record;
  • Knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair
  • Knowledge of protocol and customs issues


Language Requirements:

  • Fluency in the language of the duty station (Arabic) is a must
  • Knowledge of other UN Language (English) is desirable
