Position Status: Permanent

Activity Rate: 100%, 37.5 hours/week

Salary Grade: Level D on the MSF Canada Salary Grid, $80,955 per year (non-negotiable)

Status: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada; MSF Canada is not in the position to support a work permit process for any applicant outside of Canada

Impact Statement

The Digital Strategy and Services Manager will develop strategies to support the digital needs of various departments of MSF Canada by finding ways to engage the public in conversations around MSF’s medical humanitarian work in over 70 countries and to inspire them to take action around MSF’s key advocacy issues through digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with various teams to develop brand awareness, advocacy, and recruitment/retention strategies to inform annual plans, including campaign strategies, channel mix, investment level and KPIs Oversee MSF Canada’s website, email, and social media strategy & health Analyse the impact and results of digital channels/campaigns to ensure that set objectives, targets, and other key performance measurements are being met - advise changes if not -, and use this information to shape future digital marketing strategies Manage team members to optimize workplace productivity and promote professional growth, establishing trust, respect, recognition and mutual accountability in a high performance, collaborative environment

Digital marketing services and strategy - Lead an effective website development strategy to increase levels of support and engagement; Ensure content being used across MSF websites and social media channels are on-brand, effective, and maintain consistent/strategic messaging People Management and Leadership - Supervise five (5) team members to provide support and achieve their goals; Identify and implement digital training and learning initiatives for direct reports to ensure the team remains current with the latest digital trends and opportunities Vendor Management - Lead the development and approval of strategic briefs and timelines for relevant campaigns; Ensure strong cross-vendor collaboration

Knowledge and Experience

Professional experience in the areas of digital marketing, or digital communications Demonstrated experience in people management roles with cross functional teams and demonstrated ability to motivate, engage, and develop direct reports Demonstrated professionalism in communications and presentation skills with high attention to detail Demonstrated advanced level computer skills with experience in social media, website, and email management, as well as Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education, Certifications, and Languages

Education or training in digital marketing, digital communications, or a related field (formal or informal), or a combination of relevant and transferable related experience Proficiency in English, with strong copy-editing skills Proficiency in written French highly beneficial
