Job description

The Digital Transformation for Inclusive Development in Ghana (DTEG) project is a bilateral project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Its approach addresses the challenge that informal micro-enterprises in Ghana have so far not benefited sufficiently from digital transformation.It is based on 3 outputs: (1) Cooperation at national and regional level to promote digital entrepreneurship. (2) Improve and more efficient access to target group-oriented digital solutions. (3) Coaching and mentoring for the application of digital solutions

Your tasks

Advising local innovation hubs and other local service providers on the development of their consulting and mentoring services as well as the development of corresponding business models for the sustainable anchoring of the service offering especially for women Establishment of digital knowledge products (e.g. coaching materials for micro-entrepreneurs) - Adaptation of curricula, esp. for girls & women on digital competence and entrepreneurship Establishment of trainings for employees of innovation hubs and other local intermediaries on innovative and agile methods and approaches, including human centered design Support of further consulting offers (e.g. agent networks and consulting centers in the field of action (2)) to increase the access of MSMEs to relevant digital solutions Support of user testing between local start-ups and MSMEs for the needs-oriented adaptation and further development of existing digital solutions

Your profile

Completed university studies in a social science or economic course of study related to digitization Practical work experience and in-depth knowledge in advising (governmental) organizations on processes of digital transformation, entrepreneurship and qualification – especially with a focus on (K)SMEs. Ideally, work experience in African countries-Knowledge of counselling work in rural areas, with particular attention to women's support Technical understanding of digital solutions Methodological knowledge and application experience in agile methods (e.g. Design Thinking, Scrum) as well as part-time mentoring and coaching formats Good communication skills and intercultural skills-Fluent in English
