Develop digital data collection tools and collect curate data.
Curate the collected data on the server.
Support proposals and project through providing analysis and graphical outputs, including spacial data.
Safeguard and ensure that all relevant data collection tools and data are backed up, protected from data loss.
Oversee overall data quality assurance and control.
Develop new databases and innovative ways to integrate information from the various databases to optimize data utilization.
Ensure data/information generated is properly organized to facilitate data analysis and/or repurposing to create new knowledge.
Oversee the archiving of documents and advise on best methods and tools to be used.
Provide technical support to staff on data management activities and application in different contexts including monitoring and evaluation, knowledge generation and communication.
Requirements
3 Years' experience working in data management or another relevant field.
BSc in computer science, statistics, or other IT relevant field. An MSc will be an added advantage.
Competent programmer.
Familiarity with ODK type tools and online data management are essential
Knowledge of SQL, R, and QGIS a plus.
