International Water Management Institute (IWMI), a CGIAR Research Center, on behalf of International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking to hire approximately 24 Enumerators to conduct a baseline survey in six districts (East Mamprusi, Chereponi, North Gonja, West Gonja, Saboba, and Gushegu) by conducting interviews at the household and community levels using digital tools for data recording. This survey is part of the Generating Revenues & Opportunities for Women to Improve Nutrition in Ghana (GROWING project).

Objective of the Assignment

To ensure accurate information is collected through interviewing members of the community and is properly recorded using the designated tool (a paper questionnaire or digital survey tool on a tablet. To assist in locating designated households in selected communities To maintain good relationships with all community members and team members

Deliverables

Daily submission of data collected, using provided protocols for submission Daily submission of any required progress forms


Duration: Six to eight weeks starting from end-September through mid-November

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Higher National Diploma, first degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution with at least one-year field/data collection experience. Proven experience conducting surveys with good interviewing skills. Must understand and speak fluently one or more of these languages: Dagbani, Mampruli, Gonja, Likpakpa, and Chekosi fluently Good English-speaking skills and ability to translate from English to the local language Familiar with computer/android phone, assisted interviews or keen to learn will be a plus. Prefer candidates with experience in integrated climate-smart agriculture-nutrition-marketing data collection or project implementation experience. Experience in conducting gender segregated data collection is a strong added advantage. Activities will demand significant amounts of walking. Willingness to work on weekends, as needed. Must currently be resident in one of the following districts: East Mamprusi, Chereponi, North Gonja, West Gonja, Saboba, or Gushegu.
