UNICEF has ambitious targets for Individual fundraising in the next couple of years until 2021. The PFP Individual Giving team has identified developing global fundraising packages and the potential for fundraising in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) as areas for further development and support.

To help the unit deliver important projects in 2020, the Individual Giving (IG) team would like to add further resources through this consultancy.

How can you make a difference?

To support the fundraising marketing services unit within the IG team in delivery of global fundraising packages and MENA fundraising initiatives with the objective of creating new creative propositions and assets for fundraising to enable fundraising results in Natcoms and Country Offices.

MAIN TASKS:

Under the guidance of the Fundraising Manager (marketing and fundraising services) in the Individual Giving Team, the incumbent will perform the following duties:

Support theFundraising Manager (marketing and fundraising services) to deliver up to two global multi-channel fundraising packages:

Work with agencies to develop the strategic thinking for these two packages and project plans with well-defined phases and timelines Support the team in developing all the assets for these fundraising packages Interact closely with key markets to ensure their inputs are considered during the development of the package Deliver the campaign within timelines Distribute the campaign assets to all the relevant markets and support them during the implementation stage Respond to post-delivery requests and queries Evaluate the performance

In coordination with theFundraising Manager (marketing and fundraising services)contribute to the delivery ofa donor retention plan and develop on-going assets for the MENA region

Create a Retention journey plan and calendarfor new donors from the Middle East and North Africa region, as well as the Gulf. Identify relevant content in English and Arabic forto nurture donors from this region. Copywritingofemails and other digital assets such as retention landing pages.

DELIVERABLES:

Global Fundraising Packages and all the assets as defined in the individual project plans.

Global creative package 1 to be delivered by August 2020 Global creative package 2 to be delivered by December 2020

MENA and non-PSFR (Private Sector Fundraising) offices retention assets:

A fully developed journey plan for donor acquired through these campaigns All the retention emails as per the journey plan All the supporting materials like the landing pages to support the MENA campaigns and retention materials Supporter care for these donors

ESTIMATED DURATION OF THE CONTRACT:

Up to 10 working days per month within 9 months. Tentatively starting in April 2020 and ending on 31 December 2020.

REPORTING TO:

Fundraising Manager (marketing and fundraising services), Individual Giving team, PFP

WORK PLACE:

The incumbent can work remotely, from their own place. Communications will be done through phone, skype and email. Some travel to PFP (Geneva) will be expected for projects follow up with both supervisors.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

University degree in Marketing, Communications, Humanities, Fundraising, Business Administration, Social Sciences, International Relations or their equivalent is required. At least 5 years of experience in strategizing, planning and executing fundraising/marketing campaign. Proven experience in copywriting for fundraising/marketing materials. Experience managing creative agencies and working in multi-stakeholder environment. Email Marketing expertise: automations, copywriting, segmentation, journeys. Digital Fundraising hands-on expertise. Fluency in English is required, and with an additional language competency considered an asset.
