NRC is looking for a Consortium Manager to join the Iraq mission. The protection consortium is aiming to prevent and mitigate heightened protection risks supporting the recovery of at-risk individuals and communities, while also building an evidence base for improved response and advocacy.

What you will Do:

The role holder will be responsible for strategic advice on the management and direction of the consortia programme(s), overseeing operational management and implementation of the Consortium’s deliverables, and the leadership of the Consortium Coordinating Unit (CCU). The Consortium Manager assists in the coordination and implementation of Consortium projects and leads on grant and financial management and reporting 

What You Will Bring:

Minimum 4 years in a senior project management position (preference if working in consortia, partnerships, or equivalent structures), with responsibility for programming in a humanitarian/protracted crisis or development context.  Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities. Fluency in English, both written and verbal Knowledge of donor landscape, priorities, and conditions Donor reporting and proposal writing  Experience working with ECHO and other European donors is a distinctive advantage

Erbil, Iraq duty station. Fixed term till April 30th, 2024 (renewable based on funding, performance and need for the position 15% travel, within Iraq Grade  9 in NRC’s Salary Scale.
