Age International, the international arm of Age UK and a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) and HelpAge global network help older people living in some of the world’s poorest places to have improved wellbeing and be treated with dignity.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Officer to join Age International and take responsibility for researching, writing and supplying communications materials for the charity.

This is a varied, and interesting role requiring some international travel. If successful you will take responsibility for gathering content and producing multimedia content for digital channels, researching and writing internal communications, supporting with the production of Age International annual report and annual review, and working with fundraising colleagues to research, write and produce fundraising communications.

About you
* You will have great experience in a communications role, preferably from an international development or humanitarian sector.
* You will need to demonstrate excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
* You should have good multimedia production skills with the ability to produce innovative brand led digital content.
* You’ll need to be a great multi tasker with the ability to prioritise tasks
