We are offering a full-time position (40 hours/week) which we are aiming to fill as soon as possible and on a parental leave replacement initially limited until February 28, 2023.

Purpose of role:

As Co-head of Face-to-Face (F2F) and Telefundraising, you will assume an important and responsible position within the Fundraising department and the overall organization. The person chosen will lead our Face-to-Face and Telefundraising team as part of a dual leadership team. You will be responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of permanent donors through Face-to-Face (F2F), Door-to-Door (D2D) and Telefundraising activities. You are reporting to the head of Fundraising and Marketing and you are a member of the department's management team.

Your responsibilities:

· You lead a team of up to 15 employees.

· You are responsible for the strategic development of our Telefundraising campaigns for the retention and development of permanent donors and for the strategic development of the cooperation with F2F/D2D agencies.

· Represent and support your co-lead F2F Fundraising in managing the in-house F2F Fundraising program.

· You will manage existing F2F and D2D agencies and identify new potential on the market.

· You monitor regularly KPIs with the focus on performance and quality and ensure the implementation and development of optimization measures.

· Budget planning and responsibility is the task area of the Co-head.

· You are part of the global network of F2F managers of Save the Children International and you are in close contact with our international colleagues.

Your skills and experience:

· You have obtained an academic degree with focus on fundraising, marketing, communication and distribution or an otherwise comparable education.**

· You can look back on several years of relevant work experience and first leadership experience preferably in the NGO/Fundraising sector or an otherwise comparable experience in direct marketing (e. g. call center, promotion agencies).**

· You enjoy a performance-oriented, data-driven method of working and bring solid experience in recruiting loyal donor/clients along key fundraising/acquisition KPIs.

· You are familiar with the development and implementation of multi-year strategies, budget management and cooperation with agencies and other direct marketing partners.

· You have strong negotiation and decision-making skills and communicate transparently, empathically and effectively. The working language is German, very good English skills are also a prerequisite.

· You think in a solution-oriented and creative way and you have the ability to motivate yourself and your team at all times.

· You have a desire for trusting cooperation in a dual leadership with clear own and joint areas of responsibilities.
