Project Description:
Creative Associates International (Creative) is seeking a Chief of Party (COP) for the anticipated USAID funded Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response activity in Guatemala. The goal of this activity is to reduce the negative social and economic impacts of GBV in targeted areas of Guatemala, contributing to longer-term stability of the country. The proposed activity aims to support women, children, adolescents and other vulnerable groups victims of gender-based violence and intrafamily violence in targeted communities with high rates of violence.
Position Summary:
The COP will provide overall technical, operational, and managerial leadership and oversight for the project activities as well as serve as the primary liaison with USAID and the Government of Guatemala.
Reporting & Supervision:
The COP will report directly to the Project Director at headquarters and will supervise technical leaders for each project component and a Deputy Chief of Party overseeing operational management teams.
