Project Summary
The goal of this Activity is to improve the quality and sustainability of water and sanitation services for rural residents in Sikasso, Bougouni, and Koutiala Regions, including the underserved and most vulnerable, by building the capacity of key stakeholders to construct, maintain, and sustainably manage safe and reliable water and sanitation systems, as well as to develop and implement Commune-level Sanitation Strategic Plans.
Reporting & Supervision:
This position reports to the Practice Area Director or his/her designee in the CIT Division.
Responsibilities
The Chief of Party will be responsible for leading all technical, financial and administrative aspects of the project and will coordinate closely with GOM and USAID in developing, implementing, and revising the project's overall field strategy. The COP will provide technical oversight and guidance in all aspects of the project, including reporting to USAID. The COP will ensure the project is on scope, schedule, and budget at all times, and that all procurement, recruitment and financial dealings are properly processed, documented and reported.**Qualifications**
