Back Bed Nets Mass Campaign Operations Manager

As the Bed Nets Mass Campaign Operations Manager, you will support the Deputy Chief of Party Operations to lead the planning, implementation and reporting of the program’s bed net distribution in all the 39 Health Districts in Central African Republic. You will provide technical leadership and will play an essential role in managing and coordinating the bed net mass campaign operations as well as ensure the availability of bed nets for routine distribution to target groups at the health facilities level across the country. You will manage the efforts of local staff and implementing partners to support the implementation of the Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) mass campaign activities planning, monitoring, and execution, as well as sharing best practices.

Requirements include:

• Master’s in business administration, Logistics and transport, Supply Chain, Public health or related field or other relevant field.
• More than 5 years of experience in managing health commodities, preferably LLIN mass distribution; additional experience in health information systems is desirable.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a managerial role.
• Excellent knowledge of LLIN campaign procurement, logistics, warehousing, security, demand creations activities and distribution processes.
• Experience working with government entities, stakeholder groups/NGOs, health workers, local authorities, and community groups.
• Experience in managing technical and administrative teams for donor- funded health projects.
• Oral and written French language required. Knowledge of English will be an asset.
• The position requires ability and willingness to travel throughout CAR as need arises.
