Purpose of Job
The Associate Banker, Venture Capital Investment Programme (VCIP) contributes to all tasks related to, and understands aspects of, project development and implementation, including project origination, structuring, execution, and implementation and monitoring of investments.
Background
The Venture Capital Investment Programme (VCIP) is EBRD’s dedicated facility for direct equity investments in and venture debt for early and growth-stage technology companies. VCIP is now investing out of the third fund of EUR 250 million (http://www.ebrdvcip.com/). The VCIP investment strategy is to identify and support with financing, together with co-investors, high quality entrepreneurs and management teams with innovative technologies and business models, compelling intellectual property and deep market knowledge in the Bank’s countries of operation, as they move from product development to commercialization, or from an early revenue stage to a much larger market opportunity.
The Associate Banker is sought to join the VCIP team. The banker will report to the Associate Director – Head of VCIP and work in close cooperation with teams in the Bank’s Resident Offices.
